Branding makes your AddCal calendars and events look like they belong to you. You can upload an account logo, hide AddCal branding, and save reusable design templates that set the logo, favicon, time format, and which add-to-calendar buttons appear. Branding and design templates are a premium feature: AddCal asks you to subscribe before you can use them.

What you can brand

  • Account logo: one logo applied across your calendars and events.

  • AddCal branding: hide the AddCal branding that otherwise shows on your public calendars and events.

  • Design templates: reusable style presets you apply to individual calendars and events. Each template can carry its own logo, favicon, time format, and add-to-calendar button selection.

Upload your account logo

The account logo is a single image stored on your account.

  1. Open your account Settings.

  2. In the branding area, upload your logo file.

  3. AddCal confirms with Your logo has been successfully uploaded.

Logo files must be an image (JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, SVG, or WEBP) and at most 2MB. To remove the logo later, use the remove option in the same area, and AddCal confirms with Your logo has been removed.

Hide AddCal branding

Turning this on removes the AddCal branding from all of your public calendars and events. When you enable it, AddCal confirms with Branding successfully hidden on all calendars and events. Turning it off restores the AddCal branding.

This setting requires an active subscription. Without one, AddCal returns You need a subscription to access this feature. For plan details, see Managing your subscription, payments & invoices.

Build a design template

A design template is a saved style preset. Apply it to a calendar or event so the public page uses the look you defined. To create one, go to your templates area and create a new template, then set the options below.

Template options

Name

A label for the template so you can recognise it in your list.

Logo

The logo shown on pages using this template. Accepts JPG, PNG, or WEBP up to 2MB. AVIF is not supported.

Favicon

The small icon shown in the browser tab. Accepts ICO or PNG up to 512KB.

24-hour time

Show times in 24-hour format instead of 12-hour AM/PM.

Add-to-calendar buttons

Choose which calendar service buttons appear (see below). Leave it unset to show all of them.

Default Calendar View

The view visitors see first on the public calendar page: List, Month, or Week. Visitors can still switch between the list and calendar views themselves.

Set as default

Make this template the default for new calendars and events. Setting one default clears the default flag on any other template.

Add-to-calendar buttons you can show or hide

An add-to-calendar button is a link that sends a visitor to a specific calendar service. In a template you can limit which of these buttons appear:

  • Google

  • Apple

  • Outlook

  • Outlook Web

  • Yahoo

  • Office365

  • ICS File

To learn how these buttons work for your visitors, see Add-to-calendar links.

Set a default template

Mark one template as the default so new calendars and events use it automatically. Only one template can be the default at a time, so choosing a new default clears the previous one. You can still apply a different template to any individual calendar or event.
