AddCal sends email on your behalf: calendar invites, RSVP confirmations, and event reminders. By default these arrive with AddCal's own sender details. You can set your team's own From Name and Reply-To Address so they look like they came from you, and so replies reach your inbox rather than going nowhere.
Set your sender details
These settings belong to the team, not to you personally, so they apply to every email that team sends. You need the admin role on the team to change them.
Open Settings from the sidebar.
Go to the Email section.
Fill in From Name, the name recipients see the email is from. Use something recipients recognise, such as your organisation or event name.
Fill in Reply-To Address, the address that receives replies when someone hits reply.
Save your changes.
Both fields are optional. Leave either one blank to keep AddCal's default for that field.
Which emails this affects
Your sender details are applied to the emails AddCal sends for your events, including calendar invites, RSVP confirmations, and event reminders.
This does not change AddCal's own account emails, such as sign-in and billing notices. Those always come from AddCal.
If your reply-to address is rejected
The Reply-To Address is checked when you save it. The address must be a real, correctly formatted one at a domain that can actually receive mail, so a typo in the domain is rejected rather than saved. If your address will not save, check the spelling of the domain and use an inbox that exists and is monitored.

Setting a sender name is separate from account verification. If AddCal has asked you to verify before sending larger batches, see Verify your account to send emails. To manage who has the admin role, see Team members and collaboration.
