Add-to-calendar links

One link that lets anyone add your event to Google, Apple, Outlook, and more in a single click.

An add-to-calendar link lets anyone save your event to their own calendar in one click. The same link works across every major calendar app, so you do not need a separate link for Google, Apple, or Outlook. AddCal creates the link automatically for every event you make.

Which calendar apps are supported

A single AddCal link works with all of these:

  • Google Calendar

  • Apple Calendar

  • Outlook (desktop and Outlook.com)

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Yahoo Calendar

  • Any app that imports an .ics file

When someone opens your link, they pick their calendar and the event is added with the title, time, location, and description already filled in.

Get your link

Every event you create in AddCal has a public page and link ready to share. To find it, open the event in your dashboard and go to its Share tab. From there you can copy the link or download a QR code. If you have not made an event yet, see Creating and sharing your first event.

Ways to share it

  • A link. Paste it into a social post, an SMS, a chat message, or anywhere you can put a URL.

  • A landing page. Each event link opens a branded event page where visitors see the details and add the event. The page is created for you, with nothing to build.

  • A QR code. Download the event's QR code for printed materials, posters, or slides.

  • In an email. Add the link to a newsletter or campaign in any email tool. It works in every email client.

Add a button to your website

To put a one-click Add to Calendar button on your own site, AddCal gives you a small HTML snippet you paste into any page or website builder (such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or Webflow). No coding is required.

For the install snippet, themes, and the full list of options, see the Add to Calendar button documentation.

Track how your links perform

AddCal counts how many people view your event page (clicks) and how many add the event to their calendar (adds), along with where they came from. Calendar adds and clicks are unlimited on every plan, including the Free plan. To learn what each metric means, see Understanding your analytics.

Branding

On a paid plan you can remove AddCal branding from your event pages, and on the Business plan you can serve your links from your own domain (for example cal.yourbrand.com). See the Settings collection for branding and custom domain setup.
