You can add your own analytics tool to your public calendar and event pages. Once connected, visits to those pages show up in your analytics provider alongside the rest of your traffic. AddCal only stores the tracking ID you enter; the tracking script is loaded directly from each provider.
This is separate from AddCal's own built-in metrics. For the difference between clicks and adds inside AddCal, see Understand your analytics.
Before you start
Analytics integrations are a Business plan feature, and only team owners and administrators can change them. If you are on a lower plan, the section shows an upgrade prompt instead of the fields. For plan details, see Managing your subscription, payments & invoices.
Connect a provider
Go to Settings.
Open the Analytics Integrations section.
Find the provider you want to use and enter its tracking ID in the field shown (see the list below).
Click Save Analytics Settings.
You can connect more than one provider at once. To remove a provider, clear its field and save again.
Supported providers
AddCal supports these providers and fields:
Provider | Field you enter | Example |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Measurement ID |
|
Fathom Analytics | Site ID |
|
Plausible Analytics | Domain |
|
PostHog | Project API Key |
|
Matomo | Matomo URL and Site ID |
|
Umami | Website ID |
|
Simple Analytics | Domain |
|
Pirsch Analytics | Identification Code | Your identification code |
Each ID is validated when you save, so double-check the format against the example above if a field is rejected.
Where to find your ID
You get the tracking ID from your analytics provider, not from AddCal. For example, your Google Analytics Measurement ID (the value starting with G-) is in your GA4 property's data stream settings. Check your provider's own documentation if you are not sure where to find it.
What gets tracked
Once a provider is connected, your tracking script runs on your public calendar pages and event pages. Page views and any events your provider records normally will appear in that tool. AddCal's own analytics keep working independently, so you can use both.
