Troubleshooting Common Issues

Subscriber Not Appearing

Possible Causes:

  • Subscriber hasn’t completed the subscription process

  • Calendar has “Require Information” enabled but subscriber hasn’t provided details

  • Subscriber’s calendar app hasn’t synced yet

Solutions:

  • Wait for initial sync (can take up to 15 minutes)

  • Check if subscriber completed information form (if required)

  • Verify calendar URL is correct

Subscriber Shows as Inactive

Possible Causes:

  • Subscriber hasn’t synced in over 7 days

  • Calendar app has sync issues

  • Subscriber removed calendar from their app

Solutions:

  • Contact subscriber to verify calendar is still added

  • Provide fresh subscription link

  • Check for any blocking or access issues

Blocking Not Working

Possible Causes:

  • Subscriber’s calendar app has cached events

  • Sync hasn’t occurred since blocking

Solutions:

  • Wait for next sync cycle (typically within 24 hours)

  • Subscriber may need to manually refresh their calendar

  • Events should disappear after the next successful sync attempt
