You can pull events from an external Google Calendar into your AddCal calendar by adding its private iCal (.ics) feed URL. Once connected, AddCal keeps your calendar up to date automatically, so you do not have to copy events over by hand.
External calendar sync is a premium feature. You need an active subscription to add and sync an external calendar.
Copy the iCal feed URL from Google Calendar
Open Google Calendar. Hover over the calendar name in the left sidebar, click the three dots, then select Settings and sharing.
Scroll to the Integrate calendar section and find Secret address in iCal format. Copy that URL.
Keep this URL private. Anyone with the secret address can see all the events on that calendar.
Add the feed to your AddCal calendar
Open your AddCal calendar and paste the secret iCal URL into the external calendar field.
Validate the URL, then save to import the events.
After you save, AddCal syncs the feed automatically. You can also click Sync Now to pull the latest events straight away, and the status panel shows the last sync time and event count.
Remove an external calendar
To stop syncing, open the calendar and click Remove. This deletes the imported events from your AddCal calendar. The action cannot be undone.
